Typhoon Dujuan lashed eastern Japan on Monday with intense rain and strong winds, triggering emergency landslide warnings and widespread travel disruption. More than 55,000 people were evacuated across China’s Hainan province after days of extreme rainfall triggered flooding and other hazards. The Houbara Breeders Support Initiative serves existing houbara production projects and people planning to establish new breeding facilities. It offers specialist training, technical guidance and access to established breeding expertise. The program also sets requirements covering animal welfare, biosecurity and responsible facility management.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Russian President Vladimir Putin in Bishkek during the 26th Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Summit.
